Warden Chat Privacy Policy

This policy describes Warden's handling of account, conversation and moderation information. Contact the verified Admin account in Warden for support or privacy questions. Warden is for people aged 16 or older.

Information used to operate Warden

Warden uses account identifiers, usernames, password authentication information, sessions, profile information you supply, conversation memberships, messages and uploaded files. Enabled interaction features also process replies, reactions, edits, preferences, blocks, unread and read state, and activity information. Supabase provides authentication, database and file storage; the hosting provider delivers the website. Providers may process network and technical information to operate and secure their services.

Session information, preferences and drafts may be stored on your device. Browser notifications require your permission. Private conversations are access-controlled, but Warden does not provide end-to-end encryption. People who receive content can keep their own copies.

All Chat

All accounts are automatically added to All Chat. Its messages and member profiles are visible to its authorized members, including people who join later; do not post private information there. Members cannot leave, but can mute notifications. Verified Admins can remove members, restore removed members and delete anyone's messages in All Chat. Removed members stay out until an Admin adds them back. Existing blocks, account restrictions and message-redaction rules still apply. This does not give Admins new access to private conversations.

Games in conversations

Games store their conversation, player accounts, turns, moves and results so participants can resume play. Current authorized conversation members may watch; blocks and account restrictions also apply to games. Game records remain stored with the conversation unless removed through account or conversation deletion. Deleting an invitation hides its game from ordinary access but does not itself erase the stored game record.

Reports and moderation evidence

When reporting is available and you submit a report, the reported message and up to ten preceding messages from that conversation are shared with the verified Admin for moderation, even if Admin is not a conversation member. Reports can include your identity, the reported account, a reason, your optional note, and related evidence. Moderation actions can generate audit records.

Moderation reports, retained report evidence, associated Admin evidence copies and moderation audit records may be retained as reasonably necessary to review reports, enforce Warden rules, investigate abuse or security issues, and document moderation decisions. They may be deleted when no longer needed. There is no automatic fixed deletion deadline for these moderation records.

Deleting or redacting an ordinary message does not necessarily delete a separately retained moderation record. Moderation evidence is handled through the authorized Admin/moderation workflow, not made available for ordinary message search, exports or galleries. An Admin role does not provide unrestricted access to every private conversation.

Other retention and account actions

Messages, files and account information remain stored unless removed through an available action or an operational cleanup process. Do not assume that closing your account session deletes stored information. Suspension restricts account use; it does not delete the account. File removal does not erase copies already downloaded by recipients or guarantee immediate removal from provider backups.

Where message editing is enabled, private edit history is subject to a 15-minute retention window, with removal on the next successful cleanup run. A separately retained moderation snapshot follows the moderation rules above, not the ordinary edit-history window.

Visibility and security

Enabled privacy settings control shared presence and read receipts. Moderation activity information can be available to authorized Admin accounts separately from public online status. Verified Admin accounts cannot be blocked. Administrative announcements may reach restricted accounts without reopening ordinary messaging.

Keep your password safe: Warden does not collect a recovery email address or provide an email-based password reset. Contact verified Admin about privacy concerns or moderation decisions. Features described as enabled or available apply only when present in the running service.
